Native to Mexico, this succulent is unique and attractive. Its nicknames refer to its striking appearance and beauty of the leaves. Its egg-shaped leaves are silver-green and form a rosette. It blooms in late winter, early spring. The bell-shaped flowers come into an intense red-orange color. It is a fairly hardy plant, easy to care.
PLANT CARE:
- Place it in bright, direct light.
- Moderate watering and wait until the soil is dry in between waterings. Rather too dry than too wet. Using a Sustee Moisture Meter stick helps to figure out how much moisture is in the soil so you don’t under or overwater.
- Avoid pouring water on the leaves and inside rosette.
