Crassula makes an excellent house plant as it is so easy to care for. It is a succulent plant that has about 200 species and you can find them in many parts of the world but it's said 4.60 originate from the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
- The plant will maintain and even appear to thrive in part sun, but for maximum performance, place it in full sun. If you place it on a south-facing windowsill, it may be a good idea to provide some shade during summer months.
- Water moderately in spring and summer, allow soil to totally dry out before you water again. Cut back on watering in fall and water lightly and infrequently in winter. As with many succulent types, overwatering is the primary cause of death among them. Keep it dry 90% of the time. Using a Sustee Moisture Meter stick helps to figure out how much moisture is in the soil so you don’t under or overwater.
- Repot during spring if necessary. Use fast-draining soil mix suitable for succulents. To repot this plant, you will need around 1 pack of For My Plants potting mix for the most loved houseplants.
- Toxic to pets.
