This funky guy is a succulent bulb with long, pendulous, evergreen leaves. The pregnant onion gets its name from the fact it grows large and round and sends up baby bulblets all around its perimeter. Mature mother bulbs will produce a tall spike of green and white starry flowers.
rich, well-drained soil. You can use regular potting soil with additional perlite added.
