During his travels to Latvia, plant's leafs got a bit damaged (nothing too serious, don’t worry) but that’s why part of his leaves are cut off.
This beautiful camouflage patterned plant has dark stems and deep green leaves contrasting with various shades of pale white, cream and lime green. It's name until 2009 was Alocasia Hilo Beauty when plant experts decided to rename it Caladium praetermissum.
- Hilo Beauty will like frequent watering. Before watering, let the upper part of the soil dry out, don't let sit in excess water. Always check the top of the soil before watering. Using a Sustee Moisture Meter stick helps to figure out how much moisture is in the soil so you don’t under or overwater.
- This plant will love West or East facing window with a few hours of direct sun. More sun could burn its foliage. Whilst they love a lot of light, too much sun could damage it.
- The soil should be moist, but well draining as this caladium/alocasia don't like to sit in water.
- To repot this plant, you will need around 2 packs of For My Plants potting mix for the most loved houseplants.
- Toxic to pets.
Height of the plant - 25 cm. Diameter of the pot - 13 cm. Sustee size M.
