Hedera, also known as English Ivy, is very elegant plant with multitude of heart-shaped leaves that have irregular, creamy-white edges. The brighter the spot, the lighter the colours of the leaves. It can be one of the most beautiful indoor plants, excelling in containers and cascading from hanging baskets. It is also a very easy houseplant to grow and great to filter the air in your home or your office.

PLANT CARE :

  • Bright, indirect sunlight. It thrives under fluorescent light.
  • If a variegated variety changes to mostly green, it isn't getting enough light.
  • Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy spring through fall; slightly drier in winter when growth is slower. Wilted leaves are a symptom of dry soil; however, root rot caused by soggy soil will also cause leaves to wilt. It's a good idea to use a container with drainage holes. Water thoroughly, then empty drainage tray.
  • Aim to maintain a 40% relative humidity or higher around the plant. Raise the humidity by misting with water or placing the plant on a tray of wet pebbles. Humidity can drop drastically in the winter. If your home gets too dry, use a cool-mist room humidifier.
  • Cool to average room temperatures 10-24°C year-round.
  • Peat moss based mix with added perlite or vermiculite for good drainage. African violet potting mix is ideal.
  • Feed monthly from spring through fall with a high-nitrogen water-soluble fertilizer.
  • Toxic when ingested.

Height - 50 cm. The diameter of the pot - 19 cm. Sustee size M.

The height of the plant is measured from the base of the pot to the top of the plant.
