You were looking for a perfect decorative plant for your home? This is it - Peperomia Obtusifolia is your girl.
The Peperomia Obtusifolia is a succulent-like variety of Peperomia, originally found in the rainforests of South America. Also known as the Baby Rubber Plant, it is actually unrelated to the Hevea Bransiliensis, the primary resource of natural rubber. The Peperomia Obtusifolia (or Peperomia Green) is characterized by its thick upright stems with glossy, oversized leaves. It stores water in its thick leaves, which shrivel in drought and plump when water is available.
- It needs low to medium, indirect light. Peperomia can tolerate partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves. Rotate it occasionally to encourage even growth.
- Water when the top several cm of soil are dry, about every other week. Allow water to soak through to the roots, then tip out any excess water. Keep the leaves dry. If you notice soft leaves, that's a sign of overwatering.
- Does well at room temperature between 15°C - 25°C.
- It likes humidity.
- Non-toxic and pet friendly.
Height of the plant - 5 cm. Diameter of the pot - 10 cm. Sustee size S.
