A philodendron selloum, or tree philodendron, is native to South America. Indoors this easy-care, self-heading philodendron takes up a lot of space. The dark green, shiny leaves are large and deeply lobed. Philodendrons are considered poisonous and should be kept away from kids and pets.

PLANT CARE:

  • Grows well in bright indirect light. In lower light the leaves turn a darker green.
  • Unlike other philodendrons, the selloum likes moist but not soggy soil. During the winter water less often, keeping the soil barely moist.  Using a Sustee Moisture Meter stick helps to figure out how much moisture is in the soil so you don’t under or overwater.
  • Likes warm temperatures above 13 °C. Keep away from drafts and open doors especially during the winter.
  • Toxic plant.

Height of the plant - 85 cm. Diameter of the pot - 19 cm. Sustee size L.

Height of the plant is measured from the base of the pot to the top of the plant. Diameter of the pot is measured at the top part of it.
