Rhipsalis is a cactus wannabee. It is a perfect lovechild of both worlds: it doesn't have needles, so it can be around children and pets, however, it requires more watering than your average cactus. It has a nickname of mistletoe cactus (yes, it is the one you kiss under at Christmas) as they gradually trail over the edge of the pot and hang down as they grow. It is a cutie pie you want to adopt and take care of.
PLANT CARE :
- Regular potting soil mixed with sand or other gritty material
- Keep the soil moist, but not waterlog during its growing season, which occurs from the early spring to late summer. Let the topsoil dry out between waterings. Using a Sustee Moisture Meter stick helps to figure out how much moisture is in the soil so you don’t under or overwater.
Partial shade or bright, indirect light
- Pet friendly
Height of the plant - 20 cm. Diameter of the pot - 12 cm. Sustee size M.
