Originally from Africa, this succulent is a very low-maintenance plant. Sometimes called snake plant or mother-in-law's tongue, its pretty silver-green and upright leaves help purifying the air. It requires light watering. You can only check every now and then, if the soil feels dry give him a drink. It likes most light conditions as long as your room gets some natural light.
