SOME IDEAS FROM EASYPOT

Living room

The living room is the central place for gatherings and relaxation. Plants in this area make the space more welcoming and cosy. They can enliven the interior and become an accent in the design. Large plants such as ficus or dracaenas can create a spectacular visual space, while small potted plants can become accents on shelves or a coffee table. In addition, plants such as palm trees are great for purifying the air and maintaining a healthy microclimate.

Office space

Plants in the office not only beautify the work area, but also affect employee productivity and well-being. Studies have shown that the presence of plants helps reduce stress levels and improve concentration. They absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, which improves indoor air quality, making it fresher. Compact plants such as succulents or cacti can be placed on desks, while larger plants can be placed in corners of the office.

Kitchen

The kitchen is a place where you can use not only decorative plants, but also functional ones, such as spicy herbs (basil, mint, rosemary). They not only decorate the space, but can also be used in cooking. A kitchen with plants becomes more ‘alive’ and fresh, and herbs help to maintain a balance of humidity in the air, especially in the cooking area. Hanging planters or small pots on the windowsill are ideal options for the kitchen.

Bedroom

The bedroom is a place for relaxation, and plants here can create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Some plants, such as lavender or jasmine, are known for their calming properties and ability to improve sleep quality. Aloe vera and sansevieria (mother tongue) release oxygen at night, which helps to keep the air fresh while you sleep. The compact plants can be placed on bedside tables or windowsills.

Bathroom

The bathroom is the perfect place for moisture-loving plants such as ferns, bamboo or orchids. The high humidity in the bathroom encourages the growth of these plants and they in turn help to maintain a natural atmosphere, reminiscent of a spa or tropical holiday. Compact plants can be placed on a shelf, on the edge of the bathtub or suspended in special cachepots.

Hallway

The entrance hall is the first place guests see, and plants can make a big difference. Plants that are tolerant of low light, such as snake plant (sansevieria) or philodendron, are well suited here. They will help to make the entrance to the house look more welcoming and fresh. Using upright pots or small ornamental plants on console tables can create a stylish and welcoming look.

Balcony or terrace

If you have a balcony or terrace, this is the perfect place to create a mini garden. You can place flowering plants such as petunias or geraniums, as well as ornamental grasses or even small fruit trees. Not only will this add to the aesthetics, but it will also provide a place for outdoor relaxation. Hanging planters and vertical gardens can help maximise the use of a small space.

Dining area

Plants in the dining area create a more lively and natural atmosphere. They can be the centrepiece of a table or an accent in a corner of the room. Compact and low-smelling plants are a good choice so that they don’t interfere with the smells of the food. For example, cacti or succulents will add modern style, while flowering plants such as an anthurium or spathiphyllum can be an elegant decoration.

Study or home library

Plants in a study or library can not only beautify the space but also improve concentration and mental performance. Cacti, aloe vera or small ficus are great choices for workspaces. They don’t require much maintenance, but they refresh the interior and make it more cosy. Plants help to reduce stress levels, which is especially important in work areas.
